De la Cordillera al Mar was a solo exhibition at El Diluvio Universal in Barcelona, bringing together ceramics and illustration to tell the story of Milo Hachim’s journey from Chile to Barcelona. The exhibition reflects on the changes that migration has brought to her life and identity, while exploring her ongoing process of learning and experimenting with ceramics.
At the centre of the exhibition is Selfie, Milo’s beloved rabbit, whose presence became an important part of the visual story. More than a muse, Selfie represents a connection between her life in Chile and her new home in Barcelona.
The exhibition brings together memories, new discoveries and a love for making things by hand, creating a personal journey between two places and two stages of life.
